This project was more of a re-development rather than a 'ground up' system build. The bike was originally a Larry Pegram machine from the AMA, and is now in the hands of a private racer who found that much of the original electronics were either 'no longer working' or not activated, or just not understood.
So the project involved bringing the bike fully up to date with wiring revisions and sensors to take advantage of the current software capability as well as improving the overall riding experience with 'closed loop' engine braking, TC and clutch-less shifting.
To make this possible we took our generic RBW hardware and adapted it for direct link rod actuation of the stock throttles. The end result was actually pretty straightforward and can now be adapted to any of the 848,1098,1198 bike family.
