The bike now runs and the Ride By Wire system has been installed. Take note that all of the standard secondary butterfly valves and idle step motors have been removed from the throttle body assembly. These are redundant now that all of the control is provided by the ECU via the front mounted DC motor. Throttles are however still cable driven.

Rider power demand is provided by a Ducati 1199 twist grip assembly which has 2 internal sensors wired into the ECU. Additional controls such as TC and Anti-Wheelie are taken from the small inertial sensor mounted just behind the DC motor.

So now there are just a few details to finish off the bike and a trip to the dyno.
