I did a few runs myself to get a feel of the bike and to tune in the Ride By Wire for the top end of 3nd through to 6th, coupled with the wheelie controls and torque limiting I was able to pin it with only a 'hovering' wheelie.
Now it was time for Darren to do the real work with some static 'launch' starts. He quickly got to grips with the strategy and was able to point me in the direction he wanted using different launch Throttle / RPM / wheelie retard in 1st to 3rd until he could nail it full throttle from the line all the way through the gears. And yes the bike will still wheelie as you see here but the electronics keep it all manageable. And it sounds great.
