Yesterday we were gifted the best weather of the year at sunny Donington Park for Alastair Fagan to try out the Blip Box (auto throttle blipper) on our Ducati 1199 development bike. By prior arrangement with we arrived after lunch with plans to take part in a couple of the afternoon sessions so Alistair could compare our system with the factory offering fitted as standard now on the Ducati 1299. No Limits track days His immediate reaction was a big thumbs up, every down-shift was perfect, smooth and seamless, easily as good as the 1299 factory system (in his opinion), and maybe a little better on the up-shift thanks to the load cell technology we use being a bit more direct for rider feel. And for those of you who think Alastair could have gone a bit faster, he was on strict instructions not to bin it and to only test the Blip Box, not set a new lap record. Big thanks to Mark Neates at for letting us do our system test on their track day, they could not have been more helpful. No Limits track days The magazine article will follow on with a full system review at 44teeth.com in a few days and further new products releases in the mainstream bike media.
