This new hardware platform sits snugly between the air intakes and also provides mounting locations for other devices such as the voltage regulator, accelerometers for traction control, light weight lithium battery and of course the Ride By Wire motor assembly which will be fitted later next week (picture below).
All of the standard secondary butterfly valves, idle step motors and associated linkages within the air box have been removed as all of this is now handled by the RBW system. With the wiring construction well under-way and all of the new chassis sensors fitted I estimate 'fire up' within 2 weeks. More pictures to follow soon.
