Following straight on from the ZX10 project and 2 days at Miller Motorsport park I headed south with Brian from Boulder Motorsports and a van full of dirt bikes and body armour for a couple of days blasting the desert trails of the Moab in Utah.

I hadn't ridden dirt bikes for 25 years and the deep sand in some places took some getting used to, not to mention the heat, but it did not take long to re-learn old lessons of 'sit back and power ON'  we both had a great time . Truly amazing landscapes and un-real isolation, mind blowing experience.

Only shortened by a pretty minor incident on day 2 resulting in a cracked engine case on my Yam, no big deal, back to base for shower and beer. Another day....

The Guernsey sprint event was a glories sunny day and a very relaxed affair with local competitors showing off their hardware and bravery between 2 walls and full speed turn just to spice things up. 

This was the first real test of the bike and I went along to make sure the rider was happy with the way it was setup. No problems and a pretty fast time of 10.7 on run 3, next stage is some development of the chassis that will allow the electronics to apply more power (sorry that the video was not Hi-deff, nor is it of the fastest run)
