The standard mounting location of the voltage regulator of the Ducati 848, 1098, 1198 is not ideal due to close proximity of the exhaust, especially on bikes with larger race pipes. This kit allows you to move the regulator over to the right side and fit alongside and over the belt cover.
A 'plug n play' set of wiring extension cables makes the conversion a 5 minute job.

This stunning Pierobon X80R was built by Boulder Motor Sports in Colorado and based on a tuned 848 motor, and is the very first one in the USA.
Our contribution was a full set of Marelli electronics including the MDU220 dashboard, SRT ECU, our own Ride By Wire system and a heap of other techno toys. The bike started first time and ran through the first track test at Miller problem free.
Enjoying a few days on the Yam 400 at Moab and as you see, things did not quite go to plan. But time and physio fixes most things.
Big thanks to Brian, Shane, Pat for taking care of me, and all the medical staff at St Marys in Grand Junction for re-assembling me
Development of the Blip Box for the 2015 R1 is progressing well with all the design work complete, system up and running on bikes and the Blip Maps all in place.
All that is left is a a few more road and track miles before we release in early in December.
Now that the Blip Box 'auto blipper' for Ducati 899 / 1199 / Superleggera has been completed we are looking at the Yamaha R1 - 2015 as the next development project.
The initial feasibility study will be in August / September this year and providing all goes well the 'new kit development' will follow directly on the back of this.
So we are looking for an R1 owner who can loan us a bike for a week or two for the feasibility study in exchange for a free Blip Box after the project is completed. The initial work does not involve any track or dyno work, just an electronic assessment in our workshop near Silverstone
Development bikes can be standard road or track modified as none will be ridden on the street. But they must have a standard non-flashed ECU.
